The first part in the new MAPS Digital Learning initiative is Psychedelic Fundamentals, which introduces those interested in learning to the fundamental aspects of psychedelic history, study, applications, and harm reduction.

The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) announced the online psychedelic education program on Thursday, which provides accurate, evidence-based information about psychedelics to individuals all over the world.
The educational curriculum titled Psychedelic Fundamentals, created in collaboration with Interwoven and presented over five modules, covers a range of themes including psychedelic history, science, clinical research, therapeutic applications, and harm reduction.
Called “a program for everyone – even for people who may never take a psychedelic themselves,” by Shirelle Noble, Director of Digital, MAPS who also noted that within the next few years, millions of individuals may be medically and legally eligible for a prescription of psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Noble believes that access to a science-based educational curriculum, backed by MAPS’ nearly four decades as the world leader in psychedelics, will give people shared language and knowledge to better care for loved ones who may be looking into psychedelic treatments.
