The agreement will allow Revitalist to implement the Awakn Life Sciences KARE® protocol for those suffering from Alcohol Use Disorder. The goal is to provide a sustained focus on recovery measures for those seeking relapse prevention.
In January 2022, Awakn’s unique ketamine-assisted therapy for Alcohol Use Disorder was developed and validated in a Phase II a/b trial, with findings published in the American Journal of Psychiatry. Over the six-month posttherapy period, 86% abstinence was achieved versus 2 percent before and 25% in current practice.
The license agreement will see Awakn provide access to the proprietary therapeutics and training by their Subject Matter Experts to the Revitalist providers while Revitalist will pay an annual licensing fee and revenue share for clients seeking services through the partnership.
